A buy or sell on the SMART VALOR platform is associated with two types of fees: the payment fees and the service fees.

Payment fees are variable fees that depend on your payment method and location. These may be charged by your bank for the transaction with SMART VALOR's payment partners, or during the conversion of one currency to another if that is the case. If a correspondent/intermediary bank is involved, they may charge you in addition. Payment fees are debited from the sender and is charged by the sending bank.

Service fees are charged by SMART VALOR's payment partners for the deposits made in fiat currencies. These are always calculated on the SMART VALOR's base currency- Swiss Francs. Regardless of deposit currency, the services fees are calculated in Swiss Francs.
